Boston City Hall
It was very difficult to capture the entire building by the way
This architectural nightmare is located right at the “Government Center” green line T stop, just past Boston Commons. Bostonians constantly criticize this building as being ugly and painful to look at, although I cant say they’re wrong, it isn’t THAT bad.

1AM

Quincy Marketplace
Shops, Market Stalls, tons of market-style food options, and the restaurant “Dick’s Last Resort”, where waiters act like jerks to you and they hand out these ridicualous white hats to you, and write something mean about you on the hat, such as “easier to get into than community college” on my friend, and on my other friend: “Community College”, very funny as long as you have a good sense of humor.

Also, why is there an entire store dedicated to crocs? Who needs a whole store for that?

Went to Marshall’s on Bolyston street last week, I don’t think I need to include map for this one do I? =P

12AM

A few days ago I wasn’t having a very good day, so I sporadically decided to take a walk into the city around 8:30. I just kept going, and had no destination or goal. I saw a light show at quincy market, helped a bunch of people take group photos, walked through the commons, and eventually ended up at the harbor.
I just stood at the end of a pier and looked out over the water. From there they ran a water taxi service to Logan airport, which I think is pretty darn cool.
Then I walked back, gave a woman a few dollars so she could take the T home, and eventually made it back to BU. I was walking for about 4 hours, and enjoyed every minute of it, and it certainly brightened the end of my day.

All of these photos were taken from the Harbor, one looking over the water, and the others toward the glorious City I can call home.

12AM

A collection of light displays by the North End. The Trees were part of a light show “Blink” that took place outside Quincy Market, where all the lights flashed and “blinked” to the tune of hallelujah, it was actually quite beautiful. The second shot is of an arch in columbus park, I just thought the arrangement looked nice, and from my angle, sort of like hyperspace from Star Wars or something.

This guy was actually surprisingly good for drumming on empty barrels. Then this guy’s little boy just walked up and asked if he could join, and the man didn’t care at all so the kid just started drumming away. It was cute.

Cute Folk band Outside Quincy Market. The one on the left played the pan flute and it was very cool actually.

This street performer (In quincy market square) was standing on a vertical pole 12 feet in the air. he had 4 people pulling ropes in opposite directions to keep him upright, and on top of that skinny pole, he was juggling… So much skill

Girlfriend and I found this very cute little, I guess one could call it, arbor museum. We were taking pictures under a terrace and we ran into a newlywed couple getting wedding photos taken. Precious.
